Welcome to Firebird Homes… premier builder of custom homes in New Mexico. After 15 years in home construction supervision in the Albuquerque and Rio Rancho areas, our general contractor, JC Bowerman, along with his wife Carol, established Firebird Homes. Together, they are meeting the needs of the Albuquerque and Rio Rancho residents who are ready to take a step up to total custom design. From this site, Firebird Homes also hopes to serve the needs of homeowners who are planning to relocate to this area.

At Firebird Homes, we don’t "make changes”! We are “the change“. After building approximately 1,000 homes, for several local builders, JC is anxious to build homes that break the mold and go outside the box. Do you want a home you don’t see everywhere; or perhaps you have dreamed of for years but can’t find? We can build that home for you. We offer our own creatively designed plans. Take a look our portfolio of homes, and you will see the keen sense of design and function Carol has incorporated into each home. If you have a set of plans from your own architect, you can place them into our hands with complete confidence.

Firebird Homes is a full service custom building company, which builds ALL types of homes. Non-the-less all our homes have two attributes in common: expert craftsmanship and creativity. We like to be diversified. And eclectic. Our clients incorporate their needs and wants, to give a personal flair to their new home. We welcome your ideas, and we’ll blend them with the most practical, energy efficient and state of the art options available.

Firebird Homes are functional and attractive and incorporate the best of the newest homes on the market today. All our subcontractors work together to ensure a high level of craftsmanship and quality. For example, we are especially pleased to work in association with a very talented and creative draftsman; so all projects are finely tuned, with every detail considered, before we start construction. We also enjoy a great working relationship with a high quality framer who contributes his expertise to all our projects. Additionally, the homeowners’ environmental comforts are personally satisfied with a heating and cooling system, designed to meet the individual homeowner’s needs. In other words, we assemble a team of professionals to meet the unique qualities of each home.

Very soon, all our floor plans will be available at our site along with front elevations and current prices. Soon all our house plans will also be available in a virtual reality walkthrough format. At present, most of our plans have been constructed and are available for a walk-through with an appointment.
